Great for the price

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Make sure all staff at the front desk are trained so that you get the same answer from each person you speak to.
Location: Great location. Close to shopping and tube.
Great location! Close to the tube for easy navigating around the city. Close to shopping and attractions. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Price was reasonable. Hotel was being remodeled and the new improvements looked amazing. I would recommend this hotel!

Small room

Disappointed at the size of the room and the state of the reception area. The bedroom only just accommodated a double bed which was disappointing for £159 per night! The reception was in disarray and gave a very poor first impression of the hotel

Very pleasant. in a quiet area, accesible to public transpotation. The personnel ready always to help when asked. If luxury is not expected this hotel is a good choise.

Very noisy

Good location but constant noise throughout the night due to very loud extraction noise throughout the night and was woken by builders at 6:15 in the morning. The extraction noise was attributed to the refurbishment taking place.

Great location

Excellent location for shopping in Oxford Street. Plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area, we found a great little place off Carnaby Street - it's was worth walking a little further for a better selection. Room was clean, average size by London standards and beds were comfortable. You can hear those in adjoining rooms but other than that it is a quiet hotel. Breakfast was a little basic and we had to ask three times for a pot of tea but we would definitely use this hotel again for a shopping trip.

The best part was the location. It was perfectly located for our needs. The room was adequate, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was small but fairly well equipped. The food in the restaurant was very good. The staff was very accommdating. We would stay there again.

Great Central Location

Posted 13-May-2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Oxford Circus hotel as we were going to be out until the wee hours in Central London for a 30th Birthday bash and didn't want to be hunting taxi's down or trying to get my wheelchair on a night bus! In a fantastic location the hotel was 5mins from the party. I have used other Holiday Inns so was confident we'd have a good stay! The main entrance isn't accessible but I was told there was another entrance but I just got up and walked the 4 steps to save time. The reception staff were lovely and very friendly. Our room was on the ground floor as I'd requested a disabled friendly room. The room was clean, a little dated, but cosy. There wasn't enough room for my manual wheelchair so we sat that in the bathroom when I wasn't using it. We got back to the hotel at 2am and again the reception staff were great, the hotel bar was still open (although we'd had enough already!) we fell into the very comfortable bed and slept very well. We'd booked to have breakfast and there was plenty to chose from; full English, toast, cereal, fruits and pastries. My only complaint about our stay was that some of the restaurant were rude and seemed put out if asked for something. Overall, this was a great hotel with a fantastic location at a reasonable price if you're partying in Central London
