“Great hotel aand dog friendly”
Very nice hotel, great room, great prices, very clean, nice decor. Would stay there again as it's good value and is pet friendly (our dog stayed too).

“A Hotel Highlight in Docklands”
I found a good deal on Expedia and was very impressed with the quality of the hotel and its staff. The handle of the room to my door was broken when I arrived in the evening but was fixed promptly the following morning. The decor is pleasant and relaxing. There has obviously been considerable investment in the place. I was made to feel like a valued guest and will almost certainly return next year when I will be in the area again.
“Marathon weekend”
The hotel was very full but even so the staff were very friendly, the room and hotel were clean and well presented. I would stay again as very near to Canary Warf, Tube station, DLR and bus routes.
“Ecellent hotel”
Excellent hotel in a good location 10 minutes from center of London. Hotel gave us a free upgrade to an executive Jacuzzi room with a balcony overlooking canary wharf. Would highly recommend and would stay here again. Brillinat staff, very helpful and friendly.
“Perfect location for O2”
The hotel was very nice, however we did experience problems. On check in we upgraded our room, for a nominal charge, which included breakfast. However when we went into the room it was apparent that there were problems with the heating, as there was a free standing elctric radiator in the room. The air conditioning/heating showed that the temp in the room was 8c ( it was a very cold week end) but we could not get the air con to work. We contacted reception, and after a visit from management we were moved to another room. On the 2nd night we experienced a problem with the extractor fan in the bathroom (it would not switch off, so we had a low hum in the room all night) We complained in the morning and were again moved for the following night. The hotel staff were fantastic, & moved us without question. The only other problem was that as we arrived quite late (check in about 9pm) & by the time we had taken our bags to our room, the only restaurant open was the pizzaria, with a fairly limited menu. That aside, the full english breakfast was very nice, & the hotel was most convenient for the O2, just 1 stop on the jubilee line.
“if you love river view, cant wait to go.!”
super..!
“Try your luck...”
After reading many of the reviews, we were prepared for a hit or miss situation... Upon our arrival the desk clerk was not too friendly, but she was polite enough. The room was fine, however, and our stay quite enjoyable. Although we had ordered a double room, the bed was in fact two singles pushed together wrapped in a double sheet. The mattresses were worn. As many others have said, the hotel is rather disheveled and in need of some refurbishment - the paint and wallpaper is peeling, the lifts are old and technology (TV) dated - but it is charming in its own way. The room came with a jacuzzi tub, which worked perfectly. The room was spacious, the view was spectacular and the location of The International Hotel is definitely one of its merits. Overall a mixed bag, really.
“better than I expected”
Having read some of the other reviews I was a little nervous of what I might find. The hotel was fine, the room was clean and comfortable and I would stay there again The food could have been better but for convenience to Canary Wharf this hotel is hard to beat (a 10 min walk from the main Canary Wharf station).
“Excellent recovery from initial poor start”
Everything as would be expected. Only real issue was at check-in although the room was quite noisy as it overlooked the DLR.
