Easy to get a sunbed as they had a non.reserving rule. Plenty of european guests who.were rude. Food bland and repetative. All.inclusive only available at 2 mini.bars. made u feel like a leper although you had paid alot of money. Plastic cups exchanged for tickets. Entertainment rubbish

Building works!
Experience completely ruined by building works right outside of our room! Constant noise and pool out of action. No mention of this when booking, wouldn’t have booked if I had known.

Not bad, well priced
Stayed for a couple of nights here, can't say the receptionist was the most welcoming, simple check in and rooms are in that direction, I believe the hotel is also an all. Inclusive resort, can't comment on that as we was room only, huge hotel and seemed a good atmosphere among the guests, food swimming pool and large restaurant, price reflected good overall, an excellent location

Nightmare check in
Hotel overall is decent. We arrived late at night, the gentleman behind the desk was point blank rude. Just a heads up if you book online you must email the confirmation to the hotel email address when you get there. We had no idea we were to do that. He then printed off a bill for city tax and snatched the money out of our hand. Not a great start to our holiday. Basic customer service skills needed. The staff in the bar were amazing. The hotel is clean and location is good.

The first room we had was terrible, beds where uncomfortable, rubbish everywhere and in general a disappointment. Second room we had in which we had to send an extra €80 for was good and maintained well. The food was poor it was undercooked and didn’t taste very nice at all. The transfer from girona airport was good going to Lloret de Mar was fine but our ticket did not work at all on the way back. As the result of this I had to spend an extra for me and my girlfriend to get to the airport.

This was one of my most unpleasant experiences yet. The Hotel did not meet my expectations of a 4 star venue. The staff were the most unfriendly I have ever met except for one young afternoon barman who at least did pass the time of day when we met.. I travelled alone and was there for a six day short break and not once did any staff try to talk to me.There were no smiles, greetings or pleasantries at all. I felt completely out of place. The entire hotel seemed to be full of Spanish guests, whom the hotel only seemed to cater for. The bedroom was terrible. Narrow, uncomfortable single beds. No soundproofing, could hear every noise in vicinity including the rooms on either side and the balcony faced a concrete wall full of pipes. The pool side was the only nice feature. the entertainment was very poor, same every night. the food was okay.

Nice place to stay
Good fun hotel. nice mix of all ages. Really nice staff. Good to see a lifeguard everyday at the pools keeping the kids sage. Just nice hotel at a decent price.

Do not waste your money!!!
Awful staff, very rude and unhelpful. Very dated venue where no one speaks any English. Food is the same everyday. We booked a quadruple room on Expedia site but when you got there it was a standard room with two single beds. We could hardly move. Was told by staff that they only ever do stanard rooms?? Do not book this hotel. It was our worst experiance ever.

Room was made up daily and cleaned. The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment 30 years out of date 10 years ago. The staff that we spoke to were pleasant enough but try asthey may you cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Breakfast was poor, after trying it once we went out for the rest of our stay.

Hotel sfaff are very helpful and friendly.not much going on in the hotel on evening bit of kids music but plenty of bars close by outside hotel.rooms are very basic but clean.staff came in made bed and changed towels each day .patio doors are quite sound proof had 4 lads playing loud music til early hours but with patio close didnt seem to bad

would be nicer later in season
we cant fault the hotel or resort or the local businesses which were open. the only problem was, it was a little bit early in the season and there wasnt a lot of choice for eating or drinking out as a lot of places were still closed. Lloret itself is a lovely place with a very nice beach area. It will no doubt be a different type of holiday in peak season, but for a break off season we found it nice and relaxing and pleasantly warm ( needed a cardi in the evenings ). It is an ideal location for travel to other areas, with a good bus service and links to train. In the hotel, if you like dancing it is superb. ( every night ) We dont dance but enjoyed watching. We were the only English staying at the time, it was nearly all spanish, and they enjoyed their dancing. We felt like some of the youngest in there and we are 50!! It was very entertaining as we love to people watch. We enjoyed a day in Barcelona. We got the bus and train and it was no hassle at all, relatively inexpensive. So much better service than English buses and trains. We would definately return, maybe a few weeks later next time.

Cannot understand some of the other reviews. The hotel was clean and rooms and bathrooms were modern. Excellent value full board with most extensive full board menu we have ever come across. Facilities excellent, staff friendly and helpful. However a few points to note, this is a large and busy hotel so don't expect a small boutique hotel experience, and one thing that may effect other English reviews is that we when we visited we were the only English people in the hotel the vast majority were Spanish and French and when we visited during the may bank holiday weekend most of the guests were over 50 and much of the hotel seemed aimed at this age group. There were nightly dances with two dance floors at the weekend aimed at people who can ballroom dance.

Big Hotel with excellent food and entertainment
Would not have been our normal choice of accommodation or food as we went full board with a group. The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean and appear to be regularly updated from the flat screen TV and modern wood interior and bathroom design. The full board food was very good. There were at least 5 main courses each day which were mostly Spanish dishes but pasta a two or 3 sauces and pizza were also available each day. There was always fresh salad, fish and two chefs cooking fish and meat to order. In our view it was excellent value. The prices of drinks in the hotel were very competitive. There was an extensive FREE entertainment programme including aerobics, dance lessons, bingo, indoor and outdoor games, rambles and nightly dances (two dance floors at the weekend when we were there) . There is also a nightclub downstairs but we did not visit this. It should be noted that the vast majority of guests in the hotel were Spanish and French.

Honest review, please read.
Where to start. Hotel staff could hardly speak English and were very reluctant to help. No explanations of rules of hotel ie key drop off and breakfast/meal times. Very unhelpful. Especially when they have your belongings and won't give them to you, but by being percistant I eventually got my camera back. All food very bland, so don't go all inc. really not worth it when you can go out on sea front, nice meal for two for only €20. Hotel looks great on the photos but in reality it's unbelievably dated and run down. In the centre of all the nightlife (some would not like this as very noisey until 3am ish every morning). The only half decent bit was that it was Somewhere to sleep... If you do not move during sleep as The beds (all 3 in room) kept falling apart during the night. In done the job for us for 3nights sleep but will never stay again.

Don Juan - not recomended
Too crowded and too noisy both hotel and city, you can’t rest. Young people in hotel shouting during night (we changed our room but after two days got again bad neighbours). Some of hotels employs are very rude. Not recommended unless you like it.

The "Pits of Lloret"
Yes I'm afraid this hotel is "The Pits" - although to be fair we had been forewarned it was just that one of our party, who's 50th birthday we were celebrating, fancied a trip down memory laneand re-visit this hotel he previously stayed in 20 years previous. I'm afraid the hotel is still stuck in the '80's and had nothing whatsoever going for it the exception being the polite and helpfull staff. It is in desperate need of a complete overall and the sooner the better. It has 6 floors but the lift only goes to the 5th, so the old and infirmed are in a spot of bother straight away. Our room was tidy although one of the blankets had a great big cigarette burn hole in it and there were numerous cigarette butts on the verandah but at least the shower worked perfectly!. During our stay I think we were the only English speaking guests at the hotel so obviously they know were to stay clear of.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I checked the reviews and thought that it can not be that bad but they were right. In fact they were worse. I went to complain about all of the ants that was in my room and I was ignored, so I decided to check out. Well, when I finally got service I told them I wanted to check out early and she snatched my room key out of my hand and threw it on the counter. I told her that was very rude and I need to speak to a manager. Of course they said they did not have one on site and I told them they need to call one. I sat down to wait and they called security on me. They called security because I asked to speak to a manager. He was no help he just said that they were really busy. I just left the disgusting hotel. Please do not stay.
