"Very comfortable, spacious room. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Good breakfast. Great location, looking over the canal and a short walk into the centre of Chester. I would definitely stay again."

"Nice hotel in a brilliant location in the very pretty Chester centre. If you fancy a nice meal out there are loads of choices in the town, plus plenty to walk around and enjoy. In addition you're next to the roman amphitheater and the grosvenor park which is lovely for a walk or a short jog. Parking is in the multi storey car park on pepper street and is 1/2 price if you tell the hotel, but the spaces are very small (not ideal if you have a big SUV). There are other car parks available. "

"disappointed that couldn't open windows in room - which was too hot 24.5* and unable to reduce it. also looking thru' window an unsightly towel was lying on the roof; should have been removed."
