"This place was amazing. The bedroom was of such high quality and the whole hotel is covered in fantastic artefacts. The room had many facilities and the bathroom was stunning. It’s right next to the train station, only downside is you do have to pay £12 a day for parking. "

"We stayed for 1 night, 2 adults and 2 children. From the outside the hotel looks a bit old however inside is very nice and clean. The room was very spacious and the reception staff was lovely. Nice touch for them leaving some sweets for the children in the room! We used the swimming pool/jacuzzi and it was clean and nice. Overall we had a good time and I would definitely chose them again. Free car park outside the hotel and there is an Asda express/petrol station just outside the hotel. Easy access for Chester zoo. Breakfast was great and plenty choice. Thank you for a lovely stay! "

"It’s a castle! So, it is characterful and stunning. Nothing like the sterile environment of a Premier inn! The staff and friendly and helpful and chatty! Service in the restaurant is good and the food is good - could do with more vegetarian and vegan options (for those who are dairy intolerant). It’s definitely a unique place to stay. Highly recommended. Mustn’t forget to mention the peacocks…"
