Wouldn't hesitate in returning

Posted 15-Dec-2014
Pros: Most things
Cons: Bigger shower
Fine budget hotel with free parking, handy for Albert Dock and city centre. Reception staff very friendly. Room fine, clean & comforable, just a tight squeeze in the bathroom/shower!

Comfortable homely hotel

Posted 04-Oct-2014
Nice clean hotel within a. 10 minute walk of the City Centre. Perhaps this hotel's most outstanding feature is it's staff. They are genuinely interested in helping to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The room was clean and comfortable, the ensuite functional. Really recommend the breakfast!

Weekend family visit

Posted 28-Sep-2014
Pros: The hotel is good, clean and reasonably priced and the staff excellent.
Cons: Lets concentrate on the kitchen
Location: I like the Dolby Liverpool because of its situation overlooking the Queens Dock
In the main everything was fine in the hotel and the staff excellent.my only complaint was the cooked vegetables at our evening meal, both on Thursday evening and Friday evening. On Thursday evening because of a mix up my vegetable medley, the dish came late; the vegetables were hard and rubbery. The following evening I chose the 3 cheese broccoli bake; although steaming hot and the cheese well cooked the broccoli and the pasta were tough and rubbery. Obviously an over use of the microwave! I mentioned all this on checkout.

Pros: comfortable rooms and friendly staff
Cons: n/a
Location: Near Pier Head and Albert Dock area. V good for excellent restaurants, and 2 main museums. Also short walk to major shopping locations.
Ideal for overnight / long weekend. Very comfortable and warm rooms right on the banks of the Mersey River.

Small and cheap

Posted 06-Sep-2014
I understand this is a cheap hotel and would compare to a super 8 in the USA. However, the room was very cramped and not very comfortable.

Lovely visit, would recommend

Had a lovely stay, staff were warm and friendly. They were able to provide a cot for my 9 month old on arrival and washed and sterilised his bottles and cutlery. Decent size car park, hotel is about 10 min walk from town and Albert Docks where the restaurants and museums are located. The room was small but that's all we required, and was clean. Food was lovely and reasonably priced, tea and coffee available in rooms. Highly recommend for a short break.

Close to town, fab staff

Posted 12-Aug-2014
Restaurant good price, basic food.fab staff, everyone couldnt do enough for you. Room clean but shower capsule terrible, water pressure non existent. Very very noisy with doors slamming shut that can be heard all over hotel floor.
