"Combined 2 Days in Dornoch Castle Hotel with 5 Days at Cottage in Tain after the wedding. The cottage has been modernised but still has some original features. It is spacious, comfortable & well equipped with everything you could possibly need. If you enjoy baking, utensils are all there, including a Food Mixer. The garden is private & was an added bonus as we enjoyed great weather. The shower room was a good size, great shower, Both bedrooms were large with comfortable beds. Cottage was...

"we loved this cottage and the facilities fore guests to use. The views are stunning with changing weather conditions., and daily visits from the dear were fabulous. my granddaughters loved that part and played monopoly & hide and seek in the cottage daily. Dornoch Beach is a must visit, as it is stunning and the rock pools were explored thoroughly. I would love to be here for the winter with a roaring fire and provisions and a few good books, not moving to go anywhere. Lairg does not have much...

"Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while....

"On our arrival the farmhouse was clean spacious and the owners had been in and ensured that the house was also warm and cosy for our arrival. The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. "We have been country members of Tain Golf Club for twenty years. If you haven't played Tain, please put it on your next itinerary! We have been traveling in Scotland for many years. 2022 and 2023 was the first time we stayed for three months with NO car! So many places to visit where you can be fine walking from train station to accomodation to golf to market to restaurants. This cottage in Tain was perfect for us."

"Lovely place could move into it and be super happy, only downside was although it states dog friendly it's not secure as the fencing around which leads straight onto the sheep fields is easy to get into, also near the hottun they can jump into the road and also under the gate, if this could fixed I would definitely come back again with them, apart from making it more secure and safe for the dog and sheep around it was a lovely place to stay"
