"I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return."

Suzanne and John were really thoughtful in sharing that there was unexpected roadwork outside the cottage, giving us the opportunity to find another place to stay but we decided to go ahead and are so glad that we did. "Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out."

"Beautiful cottage with Inglenook fire place. Warm and comfortable and great for exploring Lavenham and surrounding walks. The only disappointing factor was the cleanliness in the kitchen with dirty cups and glass in the bottom of the dishwasher. Considering you pay quite a lot for cleaning and were not allowed to enter the accommodation until 5pm, cleaning was not top of the agenda!"

"Stunning views of the river, with boats sailing by. Large garden which goes down to the river with lovely walks. House basic but spacious, with a conservatory. Acess to the house on a rural track. We enjoyed lots of nearby outings."

"We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. I went prepared with all the usual kitchen essentials but found that it was not needed. Dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, it was all there. The cottage is quite spacious and so beautifully decorated (even more beautiful in real life than the pictures - it really feels like you’re in a movie!), and Andrew and David have been wonderful hosts.
