"Spacious room. The hotel was quiet, in fact too quiet it felt like a ghost town. The shopping area located inside the property was all closed and locked up, and you don't see that many guests around. Service was subpar, definitely not Hyatt's standards."

"The outside grounds of this hotel are beautiful! The location is also very convenient. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and kind, though I don't know what their English speaking capabilities are since I speak Mandarin. However, the walls of the rooms are paper thin. I could hear every TV show, alarm, and conversation in the room next to me. Being in my room was not relaxing at all. The rooms also have no windows, which was very disappointing. Even though she wasn’t on roster on the day we were there, she made sure that other staff were aware of what to do. When compared to other 5 star hotels (including other countries), this is the best customer service we have ever come across. Elin‘s service has made Banjan Tree Lijang stand out."
