“Charm in the old part of town”

This hotel is located in the old part of Gallipoli on a quiet street close to the free parking lot in the plaza by the port. The people running the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the top floor with a terrace where we sat out at night enjoying the atmosphere of the town. Everything about the room was pleasing, without any complaints. When returning to Gallipoli we will happily stay there again.

Traveller's tip
There is a Slow Food restaurant only a few blocks away where we ended up eating all our dinners. The name is Angolo Blu. It serves local food prepared very well at a very moderate price. It surpassed all of the other places we investigated in Gallipoli.

Ein sehr schönes, idividuell gestaltetes Hotel in traumhafter Lage. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal und ein tolles Frühstück.

“E' nel cuore della Gallipoli vecchia : splendido !”

L'accoglienza è stata perfetta, la prima colazione è servita su un terrazzo fantastatico e le torte sono favolose. La buona posizione permette di addentrarsi nelle viuzze del centro storico e rivivere un'atmosfera di altri tempi. Bello, lo consiglio !

consiglierei di prendere la bicicletta per spostarsi nelle spiaggie vicine (per esempio BAIA VERDE)

“Very charming hotel in a pefect location”

We have really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Corte Palmieri in the heart of the Borgo Antico of Gallipoli, just a few steps from some of the nicest restaurants and bars as well as the "passeggio". A large public car park is literally 3 minutes walk from the hotel and we never had a problem finding a spot. The staff was always very polite and helpful, we recommend you ask Roman for advice with regards to nice restaurants or anything else, you will not be disappointed!

“Das Hotel Relais Corte Palmieri liegt mitten in der Altstadt”

- Man kann nicht ein reines 4* Hotel erwarten - unserer Meinung nach ist es ein 4* B&B Hotel da eher eng und ohne grosszügige Aufenthaltsräume ausgestattet. - Das grosse Plus dieses B&B Hotels sind die sehr originell und individuell angelegten Zimmer sowie der Aussenbereich mit den versch. Terrassen. - Es gibt jedoch nirgends wirklich gute Aussichten, geschweige Sicht aufs Meer - das Hotel ist mitten in der Altstadt. Dementsprechend sind die Zimmer auch eher dunkel. - Die Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto ist schlecht bis unmöglich - das Auto muss auf dem grossen Parkplatz im Hafen parkiert werden - ist jedoch kein Problem da die Sicherheit gewährleistet ist (zu Fuss ca. 4 Min. bis zum Hotel) - Bei schönem Wetter wird das Frühstück auf der grosszügigen Terrasse serviert - bei schlechtem Wetter im Frühstücksraum. Dort ist es eher eng, man sitzt wie auf einem "Stängeli", alle an einem grossen Tisch. - Das Hotel ist sicher empfehlenswert. Die oben beschriebenen Parameter müssen jedoch berücksichtigt werden, damit man nicht auf dem falschen "Fuss" erwischt wird. Es ist ein Hotel für schönes Wetter!!

“Invitante, bouganville stupenda”

ottima ristrutturazione di intervento conservativo di palazzo d'epoca salentino; ogni angolo, corridoio, sala, stanza, terrazza sono unici, curato nei particolari, tinte tenui, luci soft, atmosfera calda e rilassante. Tutto il Personale è cortese, premuroso, disponibile e riservato e, se interpellato su spiagge, itinerari e trattorie, darà ottimi consigli , (l'unica sòla è stata quando abbiamo scelto noi una trattoria vicino : "il gallo" da evitare assolutamente per gestore scorbutico e qualità scarsa). Sugli itinerari e la storia chiedete a Roman, è francese ma conosce il salento meglio dei locali. La posizione dell'hotel è eccezionale, la colazione in terrazza: ricca, genuina e nulla di meglio per iniziare la giornata. Da ripetere.

Le spiagge a nord e a sud sono stupende, l'acqua è fantastica anche nel porto di Gallipoli !

Lecce, Galatina il Duomo è fantastico, otranto e varie soste anche nell'ultimo paesino che nasconde capolavori d'arte
Dining
Ovunque trovate cozze ottime e a buon mercato, pesce freschissimo, la cucina è squisita dappertutto (attenzione al bidone che non manca mai), chiedete prima sempre.

“Albergo delizioso ma camere troppo piccole”

l'albergo è delizioso e molto curato. il personale è gentilissimo. la nostra camera era,di fatto, una camera singola adattata ad una doppia. non ho disfatto la valigia e l'ho tenuta sotto il letto per tutto il soggiorno perchè non c'era spazio. mancava anche una sedia, oltre all'armadio, per poter poggiare le cose. peccato anche per la colazione a buffet, perchè mancano del tutto cibi salati. sono piccoli accorgimenti che farebbero di questo hotel un vero gioellino !
