"We stayed 2 nights with breakfast, a Friday and Saturday. It was a family stay as we were attending a wedding locally. We reserved 2 rooms. Both were clean, tastefully decorated and had small en-suites, one with a bath and the other a shower. The rooms were very warm. There was no air con but we opened a window and a fan was provided. "What a lovely old school pub and hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great (a lot of locals seemed to be eating here too). Room was simple but comfortable and very clean. There are a few areas that are a little tired and worn, but not to the level of impacting guests. I would be happy to stay here again"
