"This is such a hidden gem! It was a bit trickier to find with my shuttle bus but Gabriela was outstanding communicating to provide me with directions and reference points ahead. When I walked in, I was in awe. It was the perfect tiny home with luxury of daily necessities. Everything was immaculately clean, with many thoughtful touches to make it as comfortable as possible with strong wifi, tv, air conditioning, kitchen, crockpot, kettle, electric grill, microwave, fridge, laundry line, etc....

"The house had a beautiful jungle view and volcano view. The property also has a nice adventurous hike to a waterfall (where the owners provide mud shoes for convenience ) The long driveway would be a bit difficult without 4 wheel drive.but this was communicated to us well in advance."

"The property manager was so communicative, even through the planning process and changing the dates. The property was larger than expected and we had almost anything we could’ve needed. The view is what sold me! We were lucky enough to be able to see the full view of Arenal. The location is perfect too. We were easily able to get to our excursions, local restaurants, and there’s even a great spa/massage across the street."

"I had a great time in La Fortuna staying at las casitas. First of all as a woman who was solo traveling this neighborhood felt very safe and secure compared to the bigger cities. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. In addition the property itself had a secure garage key and the individual houses have a touch keypad entry that automatically locked. The landscaping and view was absolutely gorgeous, the non cloudy days the sunset was 10/10. And if you wake up early enough you can see the cows...

"Rooms were quiet until we were awakened by the wonderful sounds of birdsong. Professional massage parlor located directly across the street, and mini-market one block away, as well as bicycle rental. Gated entrance added to our feeling of security. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Spent 5 days here, enjoying sweeping views of Arenal volcano and lake. Perfect for the solo traveler or couple, this is an open plan studio with lots of natural light and nearly wraparound windows. The feel is very private (plenty of curtains). Nice, quiet location in el Castillo. Kelly and Alejandra were friendly and gracious hosts. "We had a great stay at los Arcos in downtown La Fortuna. The location was perfect for getting around on foot for meals and shopping as well as the main park/square. We rented scooters for further out adventures (La Fortuna Scooters- Valentina is amazing!!) which were easy to park at the apartment. Communication with host was fast and easy. Property was just as pictured although somehow we didn’t anticipate the loft having so little head room and hit our heads a few times. Nonetheless, it was...

"We had a great time at this property. I really like that there was a pool. And the property is very well kept with a functional kitchen and a nice big refrigerator. The host is very responsive to questions and concerns which was great. Also, the Wi-Fi is very strong. I recommend getting a rental car if you stay at this property because it’s about an 8 to 10 minute drive from La Fortuna. "This is a great apartment just a few short blocks from town. Our hosts arranged for taxi service to La Fortuna Waterfalls and EcoThermales spa. The apartment has lots of space and everything you need for a relaxing and fun vacation. We walked to a nice local supermarket and bought and prepared all of our meals at the apartment. However, there are many good restaurants within walking distance. We will stay there again. We highly recommend."

"Spacious accommodations and friendly host. Host was responsive and very helpful. Beautiful views but in the Lake Arenal area, which is quite secluded. There is one small, delicious restaurant 400 meters away, but not walkable. LaFortuna is approximately an hour drive, must have a car if staying here. "The apartment was clean and comfortable, the kitchen easily accommodated my dietary needs. It was particularly helpful having ice available, as I rolled my ankle the first day and needed to ice the swelling. The grocery stores were within walking distance, the town was nice to stroll thru and Rebecca was always available and helpful with my questions.
