“wonderful weekend!”

We had a girl's weekend away and stayed one night at the Guelph Hampton Inn & Suites - it was fabulous! The suite was very neat and tidy, very spacious -lots of seating in the sitting area, and the bedroom had lots of room in addition to the two queen size beds. Because we had a suite the ones who got up early could leave the bedroom and the others could keep sleeping, the noise from the TV in the adjoining sitting room didn't wake them.The pool and spa were great, we had some fun there. The included continental breakfast was overwhelming - no dry muffins here! We had cereal, boiled/scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, muffins, toast, homemade waffles, yogurt, tea, coffee, hot chocolate - amazing! And a large, brightly lit room to eat it in! We were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff - all young people but kind, courteous and accomodating. There were restaurants within walking distance and a movie theater so we could park the car at the hotel and go. We will stay at this hotel again, it was a wonderful weekend!

Area recommendations
We spent the day in St Jacob's - although it is easy to do don't waste too much time at the market and outlet mall, go into St Jacob's and visit the delightful shops - so much to see and do!
