Minor complications

Posted 24-Feb-2015
For some reason we were only booked for the first night of our three night stay so cleaning staff disturbed us despite our quiet please sign on the door since they thought we were checking out. A quick call to the front desk cleared everything up and ask the staff were very polite and apologetic about the misunderstanding.

Pros: Convient location Close to 401 , shopping and restaurants
Cons: Breakfast could be better. Ran out of eggs Baseboard heat was slow to heat up the room but it was minus 23 c outside. Bed was a little too firm
Location: Close to 401. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby Downtown Cambridge looked nice. May come back in summer to see again
Front desk friendly. Room clean. Bed a liitle too firm. Room took a long time to warm up but it was minus 23c outside. Overall a nice stay. Breakfast could be better. Ran out of eggs.

Highly recommended hotel for budget travellers

Posted 10-Feb-2015
Pros: Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable.
Cons: Washroom/toilet in the main floor close to the breakfast and reception area.
Location: It was very convenient, close to restaurants and a shopping area in front of the hotel.
I'm very pleased with the hotel and I highly recommend it to those staying in Cambridge area. Rooms are clean and fresh, complete amenities inside the room, beds are very comfortable, quality linens and towels, breakfast included, friendly staff, nice facilities like indoor pool, jacuzzi (although we were not able to use due to time limitations), very nice view from the room, no hassle with checking in and out and reserving for the rooms. I could only say good things, we had a pleasant stay.

Older but clean and affordable hotel.

Posted 04-Feb-2015
Pros: Friendliness of the staff, especially the manager.
Cons: The ice machines/soft drink dispensers need to exist, be totally functional, and better distributed among the floors.
Location: It's a convenient location both for 401 access and for shopping, meals and entertainment
A good experience. The staff were pleased to help. The amenities and services fine.

Nice hotel close to 401

Posted 19-Jan-2015
Pros: Close to 401, shopping and everything we wanted to do.
Cons: Just need to have the pool temperature warmer than it was when we were there.
We found it to be a very nice hotel, accommodating staff. The breakfast was great with having scrambled eggs, sausage and a big selection of fruits and cereals. The hot tub was nice, but the pool was extremely cold. We will stay here again.

One-night stop over

Posted 18-Jan-2015
Pros: Clean, very friendly staff, close to 401
Cons: pool was very cold, turn up heating
Location: Close to shopping, restaurants
Stayed with 2 small kids for just one night travelling through. Hotel is close to 401. Staff were very polite, helpful and accommodating. Hotel itself was very clean, room was very comfortable. Room looked to have been recently redecorated. Bathroom was small but functional. Breakfast was good. The hotel was busy with hockey teams but breakfast was being replenished and staff managing were very much "on the ball" with how breakfast was going. Pool was nice, a bit tired looking and VERY cold! Kids would only play on steps (couldn't brave more than my ankles). Spa/hot tub as large and clean (and warm :-) ). Overall it was a pleasant and restful stay. Would stay again.

Not bad overall.

Posted 06-Jan-2015
Pros: Hotel is good and staff is friendly. Breakfast was great.
Cons: Noise from street and detergent smell.
I stayed there because I was working the town the following day. Staff was very friendly and room was good. There is a strong smell of cleaning detergents everywhere. But your nose gets used to it. Biggest concern was the noise from snow removal truck working on hotel property. The truck would come back every 15 mins and woke me up. I complained to hotel staff and they said they will ask the guy to stop. But he didn't stop and kept on coming back every 15-20 mins. Kept me up for most of the night. I get it that snow needs to be cleaned but the noise was very annoying. Complementary breakfast was great. Lots of choices. Overall the hotel is great.
