“ok to stay”
king size bed so the room was a tad crowded, also a bit dated but overall, not bad value. The restaurant attached to the office was very reasonable and had the best wait service -- the offers for refills on my morning coffee were the most timely I've ever experienced.
“No frills”
Room small had ants
“Good Value”
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was quiet with well kept grounds. The breakfast was typical but served quickly in the large dining room. Would recommend it especially if you were travelling with children.
“Very good and convenient to stopover.”
Located right at the entrance to Gananoque. Hotel has nicely decorated lobby and dining area. Free parking in front of the room adds a bonus to whole impression.
“A good stop-over spot”
Perfect stop-over on our way to final destination. Pet friendly, large room, pool and restaurant. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and well priced.
“Would stay again.”
The Ramada was easy to find and very close to the 401. Even though it was close to the highway it was situated in such a way there was no niose from it. Our room was very clean and very cool, almost to cold (airconditioning works very well). Staff was very friendly and very helpful in telling guest about the many attractions in the area. We as a family recommend the boat cruise throughout the islands.
“Nice and easy.”
I went to the Ramada Provincial Inn with a buddy, at the start of the tourist season. Everything was nice and clean in the room, and the staff was the most friendly I have seen in a while. The Inn is not that close to the docks and the old part of town, so a shuttle would have been appreciated, but there was none. That would be the only negative point, it was overall a great experience, especially for the reasonable price.
“Nice area.”
This was a nice area (Thousand Islands). We went just before it got busy in the area (June) but the weather was good. We did the boat cruise that the hotel recommended and enjoyed it. There were little boutiques and restaurants before you get on the boat, so go early and do some shopping. Hotel itself was clean and comfy and included a free breakfast . Worth the money if you don't go in prime time.
“A big fan of the Gan”
Work conference in Gananoqua reqd me to stay overnight. The Ramada is the first place you see when you drive under the welcome banner. The motel is so quaint, charming and full of character. It was clean and all the essentials were waiting for me. A pleasant surprise at check in was that a full breakfast was included in the room rate for the following day before check-out. The souvenir shop was wonderful and many well priced items were available. The staff was kind, friendly and you felt part of the small community. I would recommend this place and stay here again!
“delightful oasis in Gananoque”
This hotel features cheerful staff, a satisfying breakfast menu in the adjacent restaurant. The lobby has a very interesting display of maritime objects, diving equipment, old boats etc. Pleasant gift shop with unusual craft items
