"I spent all of July and August at Sean’s Lodge at Stonepark and I loved every minute of it. The Lodge was fully equipped with everything I could possibly need to have a comfortable stay and Sean was incredibly kind and helpful. The lodge was quiet and in a beautiful country location but only a 20 minute drive to Portumna and a 30 minute drive to Nenagh. I would definitely love to stay at the Lodge again. 10/10"

We were there ten days and she baked bread for us on three separate days as gifts. Absolutely delicious. We won't hesitate in staying at her beautiful self contained property again. "I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. "We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million."

"Our Coolderry Lodge stay was wonderful. Wonderful. Centrally located, it's an easy jump to any number of places of interest in the country. Colette, our terrific host, provided warm hospitality, ideas of places to visit and excellent homemade sugar cookies. The farm dogs made sure we were extra welcome. "The hotel car park is a short walk from the hotel itself - not a big deal but worth bearing in mind if you have a lot of bags or kids or limited mobility. Rooms are well set up, small but have everything you need. Breakfast is disappointing - undercooked food, tired buffet, and they don't let you help yourself to the cooked breakfast buffet so you're at the mercy of the staff's ideas.
