"The hosts were very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The apartment was clean, the beds comfortable and we enjoyed the whirlpool bath tub as well as the luxurious showers. The yard was fenced in and large which was perfect for our dog. Our only recommendation would be to add some cooking/baking ware and cooking utensils. Other than that it was a perfect stay and we would definitely recommend it. Thanks again"

"We loved staying on the big orange barge! It was cute and fun and peaceful. Very small, but well furnished. We even managed to cook dinner for 4 in the tiny kitchen, and we crowded into the wheelhouse to eat. We did not invite the guests to stay overnight though, that would have been too much! Gilles was very nice, communicative, flexible and responsive. I highly recommend staying here (if you're no taller than 5'10"!) for a unique stay near the center of Metz. "This was an inexpensive location to stay with my 3 teenagers for a trip to Metz. The parking garage is very close to the apartment, and from there we could walk to everything we wanted to see, and leaving our car in the parking lot was not expensive. We loved Metz and would visit again! There are some steps to the apartment, it's 3rd floor, but with teens this was no problem for us."

"The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely family home, there was plenty of space and lots of outdoor activities. We really liked the pool however it isn’t fenced which would have been good to know in advance. There is a local vineyard, restaurant and a supermarket nearby. We would definitely recommend this large house to other groups wanting a quiet getaway. The hosts were extremely helpful and offered to help with anything we needed."

"Superb property, best we have stayed in (out of six). Well equipped with everything and more you will need, plenty of plates, glasses, dishware and cookware. Proper oven. Do not be put off by the appearance from the street - the property is comfortable, spacious, peaceful and homely, with wonderful garden, terrace, and seating/relaxing areas. "Property is situated in a great area and not too far a drive to the airfield. There is many things to do in the area with metz a close drive. The property was very clean with a great layout which suited our gtoup of adults a young kids. The pool was a blessing with having kids with us. I would highly recommend this property. "Location, location, location. This was the perfect flat for us in Metz! Close to everything we wanted and easily accessible to get to if needing to take the car for longer excursions.
