I booked this hotel cold as I didn't know the island or St Helier and wanted to plump for something with a pool in case the weather was awful (not necessary as it turned out!). It is 5 star and though not cheap, not immensely more than other hotels in the town or in the Lake District when I compared with my husband who had been up there for the weekend. The level of customer service, friendly, helpful but never obtrusive was terrific.
Sitting in the Champagne Lounge overlooking the bay and the Elizabeth Castle, with a champagne cockttail, made my daughter and I feel positively famous.
We didn't eat dinner in the hotel, preferring to explore the town a bit, but the breakfasts were to die for. Altogether just the job after a difficult few weeks.
4 nights spent here, in October, very comfortable friendly hotel. Staff could not do enough for you. Lovely room beautifully clean. - Facilities excellent, Pool, spa, Restaurants serving very good food, service superb ,could not fault them. - Would highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely large room with space for a family. Most comfortable beds, good bathroom and we were looked after very well. Nice swimming pool too. We have stayed here before and will come again. Definitely recommended.
Had a lovely stay at this hotel, easy to find and parking facilities. Good access to surrounding areas and bus availability very good with regular services. A beautiful sea view room with good amenities. Food was very good with excellent variety of menu every evening. Really good choice for breakfast with a lot of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful an always treated with politeness and professionalism. Would certainly stay again and look forward to it.
We had an excellent 5 day break & would like to take the opportunity of praising the delightful staff. Everyone was polite, freindly, professional & outstandingly helpful.
Despite only booking B&B, we chose to eat in the hotel bar & restaurant & found the meals good value & of a high standard.
We would definitely use the hotel again & would recommend it to others.
