“Filthy & not kept up. ... and will NEVER stay again.”

The carpeting was filthy, the stucco fell onto us from the ceiling from the vibration on the floor above, the paint repair colors did not even match, the paint in the bathroom was peeling, the headboard had fallen off the wall on one of the beds, the frig smelled stale... yuck., we did not want to get into bed, made us wonder if the mattress/bedding was clean. We have been using this hotel for our half-way stop for the last 10-12 years; it has definitely gone way down hill.

“good value”

WHile this is not the place for a romantic get away, it was fine for a night's sleep and a quick breakfast before hitting the road again. The room was clean. Internet was free and streamed video with no problems. The shower was hot. I'd stay again when passing through Jackson, TN.

“Convenience...but showing it's age”

The staff was friendly, the room/beds were clean. The overall appearance looked dated. The bathroom/shower were very plain and showing age. We estimated our drive would take us about 24 hours and this was about the mid point. For a place to stop and get some rest, it was great. If you're staying for several days, I'd suggest finding another hotel.

“a place to lay your head”

This hotel is a real value. The price is inexpensive and includes a very nice breakfast to guests. While it is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. However, it was a great place to get some sleep, enjoy a good breakfast, and be treated like royalty.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel is definitely showing its age...Although they have attempted to keep it maintained, its just not a place I would want to revisit...There was no weatherstrip at the bottom of our door so we had to use the bedspread to block not only the hot air from coming in under our door, but also to keep the bugs from crawling in under the door...They were drawn in to the cool air and light of our room...Also, dirty towels and hampers of dirty towels were all over the second floor...Finally, the next morning, my family watched in awe as the housekeeping staff piled bags of garbage from all the rooms in the trunk, on top of the trunk and on top of the roof of a 4 door car to haul to the dumpster in the back of the hotel...

“The hotel workers that couldn't wait to get upset with each other.”

Floor under sink and vanity was very wet. They offered us another room, but, we'd already unloaded EVERYTHING so we'd just put up with it. There is no late clean up of room, so get out early so they can clean. While we were in the pool hotel staff ,3 individuals, get into arguement over something right in front of us. Not very professional. Pretty cheap hotel. Can't complain too much. It is what it is.

“Will definitely stay here again!”

Great experience for a mom traveling with three young children. The location is right off of I-85. The front desk was very professional and the room was cool upon entering which was a plus after traveling in hot July. Everything was orderly and clean. The parking lot was well lit which allowed me to feel safe leaving before daybreak to head on down the road. The area around the hotel has plenty of shopping and there is a Chick-fil-A close by with a playground nearby for the children to stretch their legs after a long ride, a Walmart for me and a Home Depot for my husband the next time he's along for the ride! I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and plan to stay there again myself.

“Disappointed in Jackson”

On arrival at 10 pm, people stood around near the hotel entrance and in general there generally seemed to be a lot foot traffic considering the hour. The parking lot contained every conceivable type of truck and working vehicle, and there were extra long parking spaces to accommodate them. There is no elevator. I'm a senior citizen and, after driving all day, lugging bags up and down the stairs wasn't a hightlight. Handy eating places seemed less than numerous and less than convenient but in fairness, road construction complicated the situation. We were hungry but not sufficiently tempted to drive out in search of better choices so we settled on what was handiest - a nearby Taco Bell, well-lit and within easy walking distance. The non-smoking room was clean and in fairly good repair but there was the odor of what was probably a recent heavy duty carpet shampoo. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. As far as I can say it was also reasonably quiet; but then my hearing is suspect and I was exhausted after climbing the stairs with luggage. Property lighting and security cameras equal security, right? Bottom line, it was an inexpensive, clean and comfortable place to stay in a less than great setting. Would I do it again? Not as a first choice. Nor as a second if alternatives were available. I'd pay a bit more to get a nicer hotel and location. Two stars is about right for the room; I'd be tempted to rate the surroundings lower.
