"This was a pleasant surprise on my last night in the UK. I'd had no luck finding a place in Inverness near the airport and settled here instead. The single room was plenty big for me, the ensuite was a nice touch, and the pub downstairs had surprisingly good food when I was too tired to go back out. "Without question, this was the worst hotel I've stayed in, in years. There was no manager on duty when we arrived (late afternoon - certainly not off-hours), so one of the bartenders had to check us in - and she seemed put out by it. The room had not been cleaned properly; there was a *USED* condom in the bathroom!!!! And, the drain in the *tiny* shower stall didn't work. Again; no manager to be found, so I had to deal with another rude bar server again. They took care of removing the condom...

"Kenleith Cottage was absolutely beautiful! It is much larger than it appears in the pictures. The host provided a basket of basic goods in case we did not have any. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. Noreen has really done well thinking about the needs of the travelers who will be staying there. Noreen herself is very nice and easy to talk to. We would book again if we come back this way. Loved it!"
