"We spotted the village from the road above, fishing village down a steep road, cobblestones and cottages. Gorgeous 300 year old pub on the harbour, great atmosphere, comfy bed and room, breakfast the next day was fresh and plentiful and offered with love and care. Really enjoyed it, 20 steos from the harbour so pretty to walk around."

House is well equipped for a self-catering holiday; we did not cook much but there seemed to be plenty of utensils /pots and pans etc. Also very pleased to see more than 4 of each piece of cutlery /crockery (a pet-peeve is when places for four people only have 4 forks /plates etc -you need those extras!!!) "Stephan and Gwen were delightful hosts and the house was large, comfortable, clean and a beautiful view. The hotel in town had really great food. Make sure you have reservations though. They did help us by letting us do take away when we didn’t. The area had so many great things to see. Really close to Stonehaven (our host told us about it) and you must see Dunnottar Castle located just a short drive from here. Had some gifts and fresh milk in the fridge on our arrival. "This B&B is close to main network and easy to find. Absolutely spotless room and the most comfortable bed ever! "Beautiful place. We loved the fact that it's 799 years old, thinking about all the people that have come and gone before us enjoying the same space. Pretty grounds right on the river Dee. Old cemetery and remains of a chapel right behind for exploring. Natural beauty all around. Staff was welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a suite and everything met our expectations. Will definitely stay again. Also love that they have a vegan menu in their restaurant! 🌱💚"
