The area is quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated, and it’s so close to Dunnottar Castle. The house itself was super comfortable with great beds and all the amenities we needed. In case something is missing the owners are living just next to it and are very responsive, even though we never met them in person. Beds were comfortablr but there wasn't a kingsize and the second double was in fact a bed settee (some kind of futon) - they were comfortable but not as described. The bunk beds had very little headroom for the bottom bed user. Sadly the views of open countryside were spoiled as the field next to the house was a building site. The property sleeps 6 but there were only 5 comfortable seats in the lounge - three seater settee and two arm chairs. The coast is a good 1.3 mile walk from the property. ##### Sue S.
