"A beautiful tranquil place within easy reach of the local town, which contains lots of history. No night pollution and so we saw a wonderfully starry night sky. By daytime we discovered we were in a lovely courtyard with a swimming pool. The rooms are spacious with plenty of character, and the breakfast absolutely delicious, fresh, with generous portions. Worse hotel ever!!

"This hotel is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in! Very dirty carpet in the hall ways, sheets on bed were to small,only a very slight trickle from the taps, no toilet paper! Lots of noise at 4-30am which woke us up and went on for ages!! Was a terrible experience would definitely not recommend this hotel!!"

"The Hotel Plaza Grande desk clerk was very hospitable and went beyond his duty to make sure we were well taken care of. We needed a taxi to travel to Badajoz which he willfully provided. The taxi service was above standard. Further, the desk clerk was very professional in providing everything we required. Have rarely had the pleasure of this kind of service at a hotel and I have traveled world wide. I'm sure this is the best hotel and service you will find in Zafra. "
