“Great time”
Excellent - especially the upgrade on arrival! I had been there quite recently so it shows that they appreciate customers. Everyone trying very hard in the little details e.g. the lady who collected my laundry helped me filling out the form as my garments didn't fit one of the official categories. Certainly very convenient for anyone who is travelling on the Cross-Boundary coach into Mainland China as the boarding point is in the same street as the entrance.
“We will use this hotel again”
The hotel was clean and well positioned to get around Hong Kong. The room was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Kowloon station is just a short taxi ride away and Nathan road is on all main bus routes so getting around is easy. In short a good hotel and we will use it again

Worth upgrade of room, with breakfast. Convenient for all tranport.
“Surprise”
We were surprised at the good condition of the rooms, although a little small, the rooms are clean and well furnished. The location of the hotel is excellent for shopping and is a short walk from Kowloon Park and takes a little longer to get to the harbour and the Star ferries. One small problem was getting a taxi from the hotel to the Kowloon Station; many don't want to take people because it is too close. However there are free buses that will pick up in Kowloon (from various hotels) to the Station.
“Good hotel - would stay there again.”
The Nathan Hotel is a 15 storey purpose built (est 1970s / 1980s) right on Nathan Road in Kowloon. The hotel is clean, tidy and the rooms well laid out and seemed secure. The staff were friendly and helpful, though their standard of English was variable. My room was on the 7th floor overlooking Nathan Road, but I did not hear any traffic noise. The hotel has a resturant and Bar - but I did not try either as I prefer to eat out. There is an outlet of a large US coffee shop on the ground floor. It is near Jordan Tube (about 5 mins walk) and less than a minute from bus stops which provide direct routes to the Star Ferry Terminal. It is also near to lots of shops, resturants and the Temple St night market. The area felt safe to walk around, though as I was not out after midnight I can't say what it was like in the early hours.
