"Very well organized, well stocked, and clean freestanding dwelling with deck. If you are sensitive to synthetic scents, like me, you will want to bring your own soap, shampoo & conditioner, and laundry soap. That was the only minus for me because I forgot to pack conditioner and laundry soap."

"This is a beautiful house with a spectacular kitchen, overlooking Hilo Bay and favorite local surf spot. Feels clean, comfy, and tropical. This is our second stay in this lovely spot. Thank you Randall for such easy communications and hosting. It’s only a five minute drive into Hilo. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We highly recommend it."

"The host and the property is outstanding. Very cool and comfortable throughout the stay, easy to find and drive into, short easy drive to the main part of town, and the best part is the walkable beach access that regularly sees multiple seaturtles for feeding and a wonderful snorkeling location with clear water and natural wave breakers. Its pretty much a perfect location to stay in Hilo and is very much recommended."

"This was our first time ever at a bed snd breakfast. I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd say Intimate would be a good word, and friendly. Laurie the owner welcomed us personally, and there were two other couples there. The morning communal breakfast gave us a taste of the local fruits and breads, all hand preparec. The room was comfortable and while there's no A/C, there was no need due to the local nighttime climate. It wasn't near the downtown district, but turned out to be a plus. If...

Walked to and swam in waterfall which is breathtakingly beautiful. Long pretty drive in from town-2 gates you need code for.
