"Service was impeccable and the room was just perfect! There were quite a lot of stairs to our room but our bags were delivered for us while we checked in and the room was worth every step. Lovely! We also ate a meal and had drinks in the pub. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. We would absolutely stay here again!"

Nice touch to leave out cereals etc for breakfast. Mirrors in bedroom/bathroom quite small so wasn’t the easiest to get ready. Cleaning staff knocking on our doors at 9:30 to ask us to leave keys in door (fine) but also reminding us check out was at 10 made us feel like we were being rushed out of our rooms (we knew what time check out was)"

No parking, though I thought there was (I guess I misread the information about this place), nearest parking was just round the corner and cost £8 overnight, i.e. 24 hours. This was recommended by the staff when we arrived, not knowing where to park.
