"the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"Beautiful home, overlooking the ocean. Black sand beach w sea sounds to soothe the soul, and seals swimming. Owners made sure bedding and staples like coffee were available. Management company was responsive to email request. It’s an historic home, interesting to read about it. Convenient to all of the sightseeing we were doing in Snaefellas Peninsula. "After spending 10 days circling Iceland, this was by far our favorite place to stay. The apartment is both gorgeous and spacious, and the views are wonderful. Looking out from one side of the apartment you will see mountains and a huge glacier. From the other end you will see the ocean. When we were there, we could see seals basking on the rocks just offshore from the apartment. The apartment was extremely clean and especially comfortable. We will be back!"
