"Don't be put off by the name (a "lodge" has a certain meaning to me) - if you're looking for an excellent hotel near Norwest, The Hills Lodge is it. The rates were better than competitive, and the room was spacious and well fitted out. I had a small balcony overlooking a pool, and I always enjoy having an open area when staying away from home, so this was a big plus for me. "Perfect from check in to check out. Staff were both professional and friendly. Rooms were super comfortable and well appointed. The grounds were lovely to walk around and lots of extra activities - free slushies, marshmellow toasting etc ( it was during school holidays) We had dinner in the Harvest restaurant- outstanding.
