“Excellent hotel, would go back and recommend it too.”

I actually didn't read a review of this hotel until after I booked it, and feel the need to put that reviewer right. It might be because they were an American, but to say the staff were rude was completely wrong. The staff were extremely helpful. No problems at all checking in, the room was huge, had a massive bed, and a decent sized bathroom, and areas to store clothes. Tea making facilities were perfect for my short stay, and the view from my room was fantastic. The ONLY problem I had with the room was the heat. I turned it down, but made no difference. The thing is, the Spanish people probably still feel the cold in March, whereas us English thought it was positively tropical outside. When checking out, I equally had no problems whatsoever. I told them what I had taken from the mini bar, and they confirmed this, and I paid for those items. There was a mainline train, and the Madrid Metro 2mins walk from the hotel, and only 2.10euros for a single trip into central Madrid, couldn't ask for me from a hotel if you don't want to actually stay Central. Price was a big factor for us when booking our trip as this was one of many mini trips to watch football in Europe, and it was VERY reasonable. That said, I would go back there for a general holiday.

“Very calm and comfortable, can't wait to return”

The metro was literally 2 minutes away as well as the renfe metro, which made everything very easy to go places. We asked the concierge how to get to downtown madrid and he gave us a map and how to get there. People are super helpful. The area was calm a family oriented. Literally next door is a mini mall with food options and a market. Only bad thing about this hotel is that they have no iron so don't bring wrinkled clothing.

“Very far away from actual Madrid”

We booked this hotel for the price, but did not look at the location on a map. It's right near a train station, which was convenient, but not anything very touristy nearby. We did like that all the employees we talked to spoke English, but we were given bad directions once and bad advice about how to get to the airport from the hotel.

Beware Scam Translation of description A- free internet (if you pay for it) B- next to air port (42 Km from air port C- free parking ( if you find one in the street, other wise you must pay for it) D- free continental buffet (But you must pay for it) E- Centrally located ( 15 kms from metro 20+ from the city) F- friendly staff ( Rude front desk, but, they really know how to lie) G- They will try to charge you every day for minibar even when you don't use it H- Gym on premises (not for guests of the hotel need membership) I- Pictures of the building ( are pictures of a complex next door) Stay away from this place, they have an extraordinary ability to make you feel unconfortable. Please update description this is inconsitant with what Expedia's reputation.
