"Wow what a lovely hotel, staff so very welcoming and very helpful. Room was immaculately clean. We booked one night as we had tickets to see Fishermans Friends at the Regent Theatre. Was perfect walking distance. Great view of the waterfront from our window even though we were in a room on the side. Breakfast was really well cooked. Would highly recommend. We loved our stay here"

Julie was so helpful and a star; Claire served up a top-drawer breakfast made with high quality ingredients, cooked so well by the kitchen. Lovely contemporary bar and restaurant area - it’s just a move place to be."

"We both had a fabulous time. Loved the pool area. The gardens are beautiful- will have to return in the Summer next time. We only ate breakfast there but there was plenty of choice."

"I enjoyed my stay. The spa area was very nicely decorated and luxurious. Highly recommend walking the ‘Trim Trail’ around the golf course if the weather is good. I think one more towel in the bathroom would be ideal because women often want to wrap their hair in a towel when they wash it. "

The building has plenty of character and pleasant grounds and our room, in the main building, was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with a good choice of cold and hot options cooked to order. The reception staff were welcoming and also very helpful in assisting our children to set up a surprise present for us."
