Great base for exploring Florence
Loved our 4 night stay here. We thought the location was great - not too touristy so felt more like a local. Lots of interesting bars and restaurants around Santo Spirito and less than 10mins from Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio. The two ladies who run it were very friendly and helpful. Spacious room, comfortable bed, decent shower and really appreciated the great coffee available at all hours. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous place. We stayed with our college age grandkids and we all loved it. I loved that it has both a bathtub and a sink. Will stay here again!

Very friendly staff. Showed us a lot of great places to visit. They offered us free coffee and breakfast which was very nice of them. By far the best service we’ve had. Rooms were clean. Great location just a few minutes walk from the main square.

Staff are very friendly. We received delicious pastry and a bottle of water in our room upon arrival and each day of our stay. The breakfast was delicious and the location was central.

They never cleaned our room, only made the bed. WiFi was not that good. Bathroom was super small, never gave us a bar of soap.! About a 30 min walk from everything. Would not stay here again

A Moment in Florence
Overall it is a well run B&B. The staff were extremely helpful and they showed they cared about what they did through how well everything was maintained. I do think it is a little out of the way to most of Florence but if you don't mind walking quite a bit, then its fine. The B&B itself is quiet but the neighborhood can get a bit loud depending on the night as people return Piazza Santo Spirito.

Home away from home
We had a wonderful stay at Home in Florence. The rooms are very spacious and have everything you need. The b&b is perfectly located only 10mins from the centre by foot. We ate mostly in the restaurants around the corner as they were quite local and authentic. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend this B&B and would certainly stay again

Good place to stay. Matteo and Andrea are very helpful people. They are really nice. Everything is at a walking distance, but a 10 to 15 min walk to reach the centre . But that way you get to see the city. There is a good Chinese food joint at walking distance and nice restaurants at the nearest square .

Lovely, welcoming B&B a short walk from the sights
We were made very welcome here and wished we could have stayed longer than just two days. The room was simple but comfortable, and the wifi was good - not bad considering the apartment dates back to the 17th century! Matteo is an excellent host who gave us lots of local info. The B&B is about a 15 minute walk from the centre and an easy bus ride from the station. Definitely recommended and good value for a B&B.

Old world charm in the heart of the city
Comfortable walking distance to all the important sites. 2nd floor flat in old charming building with 7 rooms; welcoming atmosphere; high ceilings; spacious room. A bit dark and could use a fresh coat of paint but clean and comfortable enough. Very kind and friendly staff.

Good value accommodation in easy walking distance.
Home in Florence is the ideal Bed & Breakfast if you are on a budget and want accommodation with a bit more local character. It is basically an apartment in a block that has been converted into a B&B.It is within easy walking distance of all the main tourist spots but in a back street in a quieter part of town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is simple and charming [the bed was very comfortable and I'm fussy] the breakfast is basic continental fare but snacks & beverages are available 24/7. We found the nearby Piazza Santa Spirito perfect for eating out in the evenings - great atmosphere and great food.All in all would recommend this to anyone with simple tastes, except maybe the less able bodied [stairs and 10 minute walk into city centre]

Made my stay pleasurable
This b&b is in a private residence about a 3 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and right near the Pitti Palace. The room we stayed in was large and was perfect for myself and my daughter. The inn has a kitchen which is available 24 hours a day. The croissants are great and the cappuccino was very good. A great place for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Home in Florence is in a fantastic location, a little bit away from all the busy crowds which was lovely, but easy 5-10 minute walk to all the attractions. The room was huge, bathroom a little small but overall very nice. Service was nice and helpful, whenever staff saw us they would always say hello and ask how we were going. Only issue was we wanted to do a half day winery tour and the staff was not very helpful. He would only book it if we went with the one company he knew, but that company did not offer any half day tours. We found a tour online and asked if he would call and book it, which he wouldn't as he said he did not know the company. We had to use our global roaming to call the company and book it ourselves, which turned out fine, but a little disappointing that he wouldn't book it for us.

The room was very clean elegant. The host was very helpful in keeping our luggage after we checked out so we could stay in Florence longer. The location was good because it was out of the crowds and the touristy stuff. There were convenient groceries and places to get expresso as I did not have breakfast in the hotel.It was great to be staying where there were local people living their normal lives.

Central and convenient . Older style B&B but comfortable. Staff very friendly and breakfast was fine. I've never seen such a selection of teas! To receive a bottle of wine upon leaving was quite beyond our expectations!

Really interesting B&B, 10 mins walk from the major bridges in quite area. Good overall stay and the staff were all fantastic, really helpful and knowledgeable. The B&B had everything you needed and continental breakfast was plentiful, really nice touch was open access to the breakfast room at anytime for coffee, tea biscuits and even “Cantucci e Vin/ il Santo for guests to enjoy. !.

the owner is very helpful. gave us a 10 mins briefing about Rome, recommanded several great restaurant to us when we checked in. He also helped us to make a reservation to the Uffizi Gallery. Room is great. very clean. Plenty of space in the room and toilet.

Our stay at Home in Florence was nice. It was a bit noisy at night and not exactly as cozy looking as it looks in the photos, but it was still quite nice, clean and comfortable. (I would not pay for the breakfast... it's all prepackaged food.)

This hotel was ideally located for the artisan area as well as being only a 10 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Really friendly staff and comfortable room. Good breakfast room with plenty of choice of foods which were available all day.Good to meet other guests in such an informal location.Room and hotel very clean. Would recommend to anyone.

Point positif:l’accueil des propriétaires, la propreté, le calme, de bons restaurants à proximité, le quartier de Santo Spirito est très agréable et les principaux sites à visiter ne sont pas très loin. Il est également à signaler que les propriétaires de cet établissement parlent français. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésiter.

Völlig zufriedenstellend
Sehr sauber, gutes Bett, nicht mehr ganz neu, aber wir waren positiv überrascht. Nette Inhaber, wir waren nur hier zum Schlafen. Teils sehr hellhörig, vor allem zur Strasse hin, aber das wird man überall in Florenz haben, wenn man nicht viel zahlen möchte. Liegt gut, man kann überall hin. Das Parkthema ist etwas schwierig, es gibt in der Nähe 200-500 m Parkgaragen, die man für rund 30 CHF pro Nacht nutzen kann.

Velmi krásný a útulný pokoj pro dvě osoby s klimatizací. Majitel B&B byl velice ohleduplný a staral se o nás jako o vlastní rodinu. Ohledně příjezdu jsme byli v kontaktu přes mobil i e-mail. Žádný zádrhel v komunikaci nebyl. Po příjezdu jsme dostali info o městě, mapu a užitečné rady. Pokoje čisté, tiché, s klimatizací. Čísla pokojů zde nejsou, místo toho se pokoje jmenují podle florentských osobností. Navíc dostanete sladký dárek na uvítanou. Pokoje jsou vybaveny skříní, postelí, lampou, lednicí, Tv, dokonce i trezorem. Koupelna čistá, funkční se sprchovým koutem. Signál wifi je silný. Na chodbě je Pc pro potřebu informací apod. Vydatná snídaně je v ceně, ráno je ve sdílené jídelně k dispozici káva, čaj, mléko, pečivo atd. Do centra k mostu Ponte Vecchio 5 min pěšky. Hotel je situován v poklidné čtvrti Oltrarno s pestrým výběrem restaurací se slušnými cenami poblíž baziliky Santo Spirito. Hned za rohem při východu z hotelu se nachází vstup do městského parku Boboli. Celkově velmi příjemný personál i místo. Ideální pro páry či jednotlivce. Při odjezdu se musí zaplatit městská daň 3 eura den/osoba, není problém si po domluvě nechat kufry na ubytování poslední den, když chcete jít ven na poslední procházku či oběd. Celkově paráda.

Die Lage war top. Wir konnten die Innenstadt zu Fuß erkunden. Die Unterkunft sowie das Zimmer waren sauber, das Bad winzig. Da neben uns ein Theater lag und wir am Wochenende dort waren, war es etwas laut. Eduardo ist ein hilfsbereiter und zuvorkommender Inhaber. Er gab uns gute Tips. Das Frühstück war gut. Die Parkgarage mit 28,00 Euro pro Tag nicht günstig, aber anderes geht es dort leider nicht.

Sentralt og greit.
Lite hotell, B&B, like ved Ponte Vecchio, i gangavstand til alle byens severdigheter. Ganske lite og mørkt rom, men rent og pent. Like i nærheten var det mange gode redtauranter. Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening.

Premetto che sono stata in bassa stagione e ho avuto la stanza migliore del BB. Ampia pulita, con tutti i confort tv e Wi-Fi, soffitto piacevolmente decorato ed un bel bagno grande. Personale cortese e colazione abbondante. Non potevo desiderare di meglio!

Zentral und trotzdem abseits der Touristenströme
Das wichtigste für uns waren die komfortablen Betten, die gut funktionierende Klimaanlage, die Ruhe und der nette und hilfsbereite Service. Die Lage war für uns auch optimal, zentral aber trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Keine Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Die nächste kostenpflichtige Garage ist ca. 400 m entfernt. Zum Be- und Entladen konnten wir am Haus parken.Richtung Zentrum gibt es einige gute Gaststätten (Cafés., Bars, Restaurants)

Abbiamo soggiornato un fine settimana. Camera pulita, zona vicina al centro ma molto tranquilla con ristoranti nei dintorni. Ottima colazione e gentilezza del personale. Possibilità di lasciare il bagaglio.

Kleines Hotel mit Ambiente
Beim Einchecken in das sehr überschaubare Hotel wurden wir von dem symphatischen "Rezeptionisten" mit allem wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten über Florenz vertraut gemacht und bekamen auf Wunsch sogar zahlreiche Speise- und Restaurantempfehlungen. Das Zimmer war stilvoll mit rustikalen Möbeln eingerichtet, sauber und lag an einer sehr wenig befahrenen Nebenstraße. Man schaut direkt auf die gegenüberliegende Häuserwand; wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, stört das jedoch nicht. Das Bad war klein, aber für Zimmer in gleicher Preislage durchschnittlich, und ebenfalls im sehr guten Zustand. Das Frühstück besteht aus einem kleinen, kalten Buffet, von dem man gestärkt in den Tag gehen kann. Für einige Tage Aufenthalt ist es ausreichend.

Nonostante avessimo prenotato per 2 adulti e 1 bambino, ci hanno assegnato una camera con solo il letto matrimoniale, come anche gli asciugamani ( che vengono cambiati ogni 3 gg) erano per due persone...li abbiamo dovuti chiedere, stessa cosa per la carta igienica, abbiamo dovuto chiedere che venisse messa...ecco, comodo perché vicino al centro, ma si perdono in piccolezze.

Sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Sehr gute Lage für die Erkundung von Florenz. Zimmer sind ringhörig.
