“Williams near Grand Canyon”

Ideal spot to start exploring the area. About an hour from Gran Canyon. One minute from town with dennings and a garage adjoining the property. It also has a restaurant which was tool expensive for me, went next door to Dennings. There is also a nice pool and hot tub. Would recommend this motel to anyone wanting a comfortable spot to spend for a few nights in the area.

“Williams' Jewel”

A very pleasant stay. Friendly staff. Great entertainment. The best continental breakfast I've ever had. Close proximity to downtown Williams and surrounding attractions. Not our first trip and won't be our last!

Area recommendations
Williams is a tourist town with fun shopping, people watching, and good food. Close to Grand Canyon, Deer Farm, and lots of open range for off-road exploring.

“Good place to stay if visiting the Grand Canyon”

The hotel amenities, service, etc., were good. The hotel location is somewhat remote and you must drive into Williams or Flagstaff to find a decent restaurant. However, it is a good location for visiting the Grand Canyon. We signed up with a tour through the hotel front desk, and the tour of the canyon was excellent. Given the price of the room, this seems to be a good bargain.

“Good place to stay for visiting Grand Canyon”

This is a very friendly clean hotel with an excellent restaurant which we used twice. Nice outdoor pool area. Only small complaint was that the bed was a little hard and would have been much improved by a soft topper! Too far to walk into town really, but only 5 minutes in the car. Would stay here again.

Area recommendations
Williams is a small town so very accessable from most areas. Lots of local places to eat. Very convenient for the Grand Canyon

“Good place to stay, but eat breakfast elsewhere”

The hotel room was clean, roomy, and nicely decorated. However, the free breakfast was not impressive. I would recommend the hotel, but not the food.

Dining
We ate dinner at the Pine Street Cafe and it was really great.

“We'll be there again THIS weekend.”

We were completely happy with our stay. We enjoyed the food, entertainment, and fire ring. The staff was kind and helpful. They were quick to remove a charge from our room that was not ours. We really apprecitated that. We'll be back this weekend!

Area recommendations
We did some off-roading, and it was really fun and beautiful. We also went into the town of Williams and shopped. The Native American jewelry is fantastic.
Nightlife
We just hung out in front of the hotel bar and listened to the live entertainment. It was really great.

“Great hotel, great town and about 45 min from the Grand Canyon”

My wife and two kids (10 and 8) stayed for two nights comming in from Las Vegas (about 3 hour drive). We would have prefered to stay at the Grand Canyon, but our trip happened on short notice and the park hotels were booked. The Best Western in Williams was clean and well maintained. We all enjoyed the free hot breakfast and the kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. The drive to the Grand Canyon was only about 45 minutes. We enjoyed visiting down town Williams as well which is only a mile or so from the hotel. The people were friendly and there were a number of shops and restaurants. One BBQ joint down town had live entertainment both nights and the Best Western had live entertainment both nights as well (7-10 pm). We like the fact that, other than a DQ, the town did not have any fast food joints, all mom and pops. We had dinner at Ron's Steak House. It was OK and the service was good, but nothing to write home about and ran $70 for the four of us. We would stay at the Best Western again!
