“Love this little Motel!”

We love this little motel. It is situated close to UO with easy entrance and exit. It is quiet, extremely clean & the staff is very kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable, and in our case this last visit our room was two rooms with a queen in each which gave our family members privacy to dress. The bathroom was small but had a couple shelves to put our toiletry items. For the price it is the best place in town.

“not impressed”

Would stay here again only if there were no other decent options available. The oldest, smallest room with horrible shower and TINY towels (and I am not a big person).

“best value ever”

Incredible value for price at this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, fridge and microwave in room, breakfast included, walking distance to downtown and the university, free internet or use their computer...I just can't recommend this enough. I have stayed at the Hilton in Eugene but enjoyed the Broadway Inn much more.

Dining

The Beer Stein is a terrific bottleshop and pub, with food. Great local and faraway beer selection, cool atmosphere. Can walk there from the hotel. Avoid Burrito Boy unless you are starving in the middle of the night. It is very close to the hotel, and it's open 24 hours, but the food is mediocre and the prices are high.

“A very tired property.”

Didn't feel clean, always wore shoes. A lot of money for not much. Cost of room implied it would have been nicer.

“Great value. Other patrons smoking outside my room.”

I stay here every so often for business. No fuss type place for a bed. Last time I stayed there was a couple next door who were fighting. This time, there is a smoking "snuffer" outside my room door. All who smoke would extinguish their butts in this receptacle...in view of my window.

“Not impressed”

This is an old motel that has been well maintained. We had a 2-room suite with 2 queen beds. We will not return to this motel. If I want to stay near Eugene again, I'll opt for one of the newer chains in nearby Springfield. PROS: + our room looked neat & tidy when we entered + free wifi + continental breakfast were nice surprises + the room had 2 closets, one fairly large (personally, I would've preferred more floor space instead, but some people might like the closets) CONS: - cramped rooms, miniature bathroom - thin walls: we could hear the neighbors at night, and I bet they could hear my kids in the morning - shower walls had enough soap scum on them for my teenager to write interesting graffiti with her fingernail - after walking around barefoot on the carpet for only one evening, my little ones' feet were surprisingly dirty

Outdoors or beach

Fern Ridge Lake (reservoir) is only 15 miles away. We rented a sailboat for a day and the whole family had a wonderful time. Rent from a company called Underway LLC, you can find them through Google.
