"Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. "There were some disparaging comments left previously which didn’t put us off, so let’s address them. Dates: it is a little dated, if you’re expecting a “resort” like the Ramada, it’s not for you. It’s a well maintained family style resort where the staff are fantastic. The breakfast (delivered to your room) is a little different but perfectly adequate for your needs. It’s different but very enjoyable with the staff the absolute high point"

"The resort rated right up there among some very good resorts. The accomodation is incredibly generous in size. Very clean tidy and well set out. Attention to detail has been well thought out. The sea at your doorstep is amazing with excellent snorkeling right off the beach. The staff are attentive and great communicators. The food is excellent. All in all a magnificent place to stay"

"Liked the options for pools and snorkelling. Rooms are a bit tired and need some maintenance but wasnt expecting perfection. Boat to the mainland is very convenient. Main negative was the fact that we were sent an early bird special link to book massages and experiences, so we did but then when on the island they tried to charge full price. It took 3 separate conversations on 2 days to have the prices corrected. This took time from our holiday. An idea is also to put a small bar at the beach area and snorkellers Cove, so that more people will stay to enjoy for longer periods. Even if its just beer wine and soft drink and no cocktails. Island is quite hilly so not very suited to those with mobility concerns. No options for buggy transport either, saw some elderly people struggling. Overall, a good stay, staff were lovely, but some room for improvement."
