excellent hotel. friendly staff. Hotel is easily accessible via Airlinks bus from Edinburgh Airport... opposite the Hotel is the HasrdRock Cafe, and Waverly Bridge, where all tour buses depasrt from is a five minute walk...

“Comfort in Central Edinburgh”

I checked in early in the morning and the staff had my room ready within an hour, despite a very busy schedule. Everyone was fantastic.

Very clean hotel, beautiful room, great breakfast spread. Good value for the money. Central location within walking distance of the Waverley Bridge where the Edinburgh Hop On/Hop Off Bus Tour starts.

Very central location - just off Princes Street. Lots of good resturants around the hotel although the hotel food was excellent.

We arrived to a warm welcome. We were a little early for 3pm check in but that was not a problem as our room was ready. I had upgraded to a 'treat your partner' package which meant we had a room upgrade to an executive double. This also meant that on arrival there was strawberries and chocolates in room and a voucher for 2 glasses of champagne in the bar. The room was lovely, very clean and modern but still with charm and character. We would definitely come back to The George Hotel. The location was fantastic. Great restaurants and bars were so close by we walked everywhere. A fantastic short break that we wished was longer!!

This was a last minute booking due to changed plans. From our arrival, (to a bagpiper playing) to our departure we had helpful friendly service. The room and food were excellent. Our best stay in 6 weeks of constant travel in the UK.

My Fiancé and I visited the hotel in recently for 3 nights. Couldn't fault the hotel, food, staff or location. Great hotel, we enjoyed every minute.

The George is a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We were greeted with champagned on check-in before proceeding to our lovely big room with a large comfy bed. The hotel bar was a lovely place to hang out before being in walking distance of Edinburgh's city centre attractions.

“Really Smart Hotel”

The room was large very clean huge comfortable bed, very smart bathroom. The staff were excellent and the whole experience was very good. Would definately return.
