"This little Inn is full of charm and character, in a beautiful, quiet setting along a canal. The staff (in the hotel as well as the restaurant) was incredibly warm and helpful. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the food was spectacular. This was a great stay."

Only snag is the place is out of range for taxi/uber pickups. They are able to drop off if you’re coming from Edinburgh but best to rely on Eskbank station or a rental car if you need to get back."

Expedia gave me shocking customer service when I raised this with them. I spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get them to believe me. Total disaster. Avoid Expedia at all costs. "
