"Fun boutique pub/hotel with nicely appointed rooms & breakfast made to order. Pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the rooms as there are just a handful of them over the pub - and they were relatively quiet. Pub was lots of fun in the evening w live music from 830-12pm. Can’t beat the location either !! "

"This little Inn is full of charm and character, in a beautiful, quiet setting along a canal. The staff (in the hotel as well as the restaurant) was incredibly warm and helpful. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the food was spectacular. This was a great stay."

"This hotel has closed down and hasn’t notified Expedia or any other agent and is still taking bookings on their own website directly. Expedia gave me shocking customer service when I raised this with them. I spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get them to believe me. Total disaster. Avoid Expedia at all costs. "

"The hotel boasts the best location for tourists among branded hotels in Royal Mile Edinburgh. We took a three-day hiking trip to Loch Ness and came back at 6pm. The drop-off point at Lawnmarket is just 2 minutes walking from the hotel, so that we still had a lot of time in early evening to revisit the Edinburgh old town center. On the second day, we had to take an early flight back to Seattle, and the airlink stop to the airport was just 10 minutes walking from the hotel. "
