Friendly little hotel serving pleasing affordable

Posted 29-Jul-2014
Pros: Styled like a Motel. Easy access. Secure locked gates at night
Cons: Bar times have to co inside with meal times due to their licence, this could be extended.
My wife and I stayed overnight at this Hotel. We do not speak any French but were made very welcome. At each meal the menu was explained in detail. Staff ensured we had a comfortable and enjoyable time. We will be staying there again on our way back through France at the end of August

En route

Hotel needs some renovation, bar, restaurant reception separated from accommodation. For us it worked providing a good location in to Spain and was near to Porte D'Espagne suitable for our French supplies

Hotel in serious need of facelift

Posted 27-May-2013 on Hotels.com
Extremely disappointed to stay in such a dilapidated hotel. We use campaniles a great deal , but this was the worst we have ever encountered. The ac/heating unit controller actually was stuck to the wall with sellotape, and when we tried to adjust it it fell off in our hands.Exterior looked like it was due for demolition. Was thankful to get away back on the road. Also , location is actually a search through a maze. Very difficult to find.

Ideal overnight transit stop

Clean, comfortable room. Good plain food at sensible price. Away from town centre, but that suited us.

Relatively easy to find, the hotel was basic but functional. It served it's purpose as a 'bed for the night'

Extremely comfortable room and bed for this price. The breakfast was overpriced for what was available.

Campanile Perpignan Sud

Posted 21-Sep-2011 on Hotels.com
The overall state of the building was in need of maintenance. Our room...Entrance door was difficult to open, due to it binding. The toilet seat was broken The joint to the linoleum across the the floor was lifting and dangerous, and needed taping so your feet did not catch the lifted edges The room though was clean and tidy The staff very pleasant

Campanile Perpignan Sud

We found this to be a good base for visiting Perpignan, Narbonne and Bezier. We hired a car so didn't experience the public transport. Hotel rooms were adequate but needed a refurb - motel style, the rooms are all detached from the reception and restaurant. We didn't dine there but the restaurant looked clean, colourful and inviting.
