“Don't hesitate if you're a tourist.”
I have stayed at the Morrison on a number of occasions and it has never failed to be outstanding both in the quality of accomodation and facilities, but, crucially, the very helpful and friendly staff, who are simply outstanding. The hotel is a little inconvenient for me (as a business traveller) but could scarcely be better located for a tourist/leisure traveller as it is only a short bridge away from the social (and drinking!) hub of Dublin, but that bridge across the Liffey does take it away from the noise and general hubbub of Temple Bar. Perfect. I would stay there more often were it just a little bit closer to my company's Dublin office!
“Stylish, central Dublin hotel in a quiet location...”
This hotel is wonderful. Some of the other reviews are obviously from the design illiterate. The hotel is meant to have moody lighting, and the room lighting is perfectly good. The hotel is very central, literally two minutes' walk to Temple Bar, yet in a very peaceful location. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with lovely Molton Brown goodies in the bathroom. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. I would happily stay at the Morrison again.
“Will return”
This is a lovely and friendly hotel. The staff were very friendly at all times and when I go back to Dublin again on holiday I will definitely stay here.
“My new favourite hotel in dublin”
funky hotel great for both business or leisure. nice bar, gorgeous breakfast room
“A Great Hotel”
A good hotel that i look foward to at staying again. There should be some improvment though. The hotel is in clear need of refurbishment. My mini bar had a half used bottle in it. The TV and internet did not work. On the whole though i enjoyed my stay. The staff were amazing.
“Great location, room was disappointing”
The Morrison is in a great location right in the heart of Dublin city centre. The service was very good & the staff were extremely polite. The communal areas of the hotel are lovely but my room was disapoointing. It was very small (I struggled to find enough room to put the ironing board up), in need of renovation & very dimly lit. I'm always suspicious of dimly lit rooms! I would recommend staying in this hotel for a short business trip but because of the lack of space in my room I'm not sure it would be comfortable for longer leisure breaks.
“Very charming hotel.”
Very good value for money.
“Business travellers: your CFO will be impressed”
Great value. Particularly if you book with expedia. Funnily, they were 'fully booked' when tried to book direct, but available via expedia and a lot cheaper. For a return visit, they organised a river view room. Thanks. OK some of fittings are getting a little worn, and someone needs to tell all hotel interior designers that slight chips in maghogany veneer do show up very quickly, and there is nothing wrong with a bit of lighting. Great location, and great breakfast (except the light techno music) with healthy and unhealthy options. Overall, would definitely return and recommend to tourists and business travellers
“Hotel pretty good, Expedia bad”
Booked two Queen bed rooms. Very nice modern hotel but having checked in no-one mentioned they had put me and my travelling companion in rooms with single beds and not Queen sizes beds. I raised this with the hotel and was told there were no other rooms. Hotel said blame Expedia. Would not have booked this hotel if there were no doubles available. A disappointing start. Hote itself was great. Quiet, comfortable and well located.
“Perfect place for the weekend!”
Lovely hotel, friendly staff and perfect location.
