"I didn’t have high hopes for this guest house as it was the cheapest available on the night I needed. I was very pleasantly surprised, friendly welcome, clean room and a week cooked tasty breakfast. If I was being really picky the mattress creaked a lot and the pillow was lumpy but for the money this was very good indeed. "

"We were so close to town. Out the front door and then a five minute walk to all the shopping and restaurants. We ate at Fern’s Cottage. What a delight. It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. "

The price was very competitive and this included breakfast which was very good. The room was a little dated but was very clean, the bathroom is brand new and very clean and modern. "When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. Eventually someone arrived to put on the heating and light the wood burning stove. Even with that there was no way the cottage would be warm for at least 12 hours.
