They don't take cards, did know that until I got there. The man at the front desk wanted to keep my passport until I got cash. He threw it in a drawer, no lock. I immediately asked for the nearest atm, a block or so away. I had to walk after dark, alone, in a constriction zone to get money. There was hair in the bed and on the floor. The toilet and shower were sort of clean. There were splashes of an unknown brown liquid on the walls. Bed was lumpy. The air conditioner worked perfectly and the wifi was decent. It's fine for a cheaper option.

I stayed over the weekend and had great time. The staff was friendly and courteus, the Hotel and room were very clean, and they have a great breakfast. I arranged for transport to and from the airport thru the hotel, and they were there on time.
The hotel has a swiming pool and spa on the roof with a great view of the city.

This hotel was very good. The breakfast was well prepared and not overly expensive, the room was clean, and it was very close to many attractions in Doha. The biggest complaint that I had was the mattress was extremely hard. Also, the toilet seat was slightly broken (it shifted when we sat). I would visit this hotel again due to the quality of the staff.
Warning! There are two "Seef" hotels in Doha. One is the "Al Seef" the other is "Doha Seef, Best Western" This hotel is the Al Seef. It has no pool.
It is a small and nice hotel with really friendly personnel. However it was disappointing and, I might say, dishonest in two important issues:
1. There is nor "secure parking" as advertised. The only parking space is the street in front of the building. And, if you are late, you have to park quite far. The neighborhood seems to be safe yet I would not take the risk for a rental car.
2. There is free WiFi in the rooms only you'd wish it worked. My business heavily depends on internet it cost me quite a bit to live with such a slooooww connection. If you need it, do not take your chances.
