"We spent 3 nights there with my family of 5 in two rooms. We found the location difficult to find on the evening we arrived as it was dark and raining. When we arrived we were met by the owner and his staff who helped us with the bags to the room. Given the location we were met by lots of bugs near the room entrance as the hallway lights were on. "Its a property about 7 km away from town. Its a beautifully built property . As i understand it has 6 rooms, and a pool table in the loft. Great staff. There is no lift but its not an issue. There are small things they need to see to. Like salt and pepper shakers ( rather than sticking your fingers into the salt/pepper jar. ) there are no tissues in the room/bathroom. No hand washers - but lovely towels. The scenery from the small restaurant is amazing. This is place i may stay at again"

"This is a hotel outside of Ella (25 minutes) a bit misleading as we discovered. The room is a 2 story so you have plenty of room but more than you really need unless you have a big family with you. The room is decorating simple and not updated. The view is great as you’re surrounded by so much foliage but if you plan to hike in Ella and enjoy their many restaurants and take the train from there, do yourself a favor and stay in the actual town, would’ve been much better. "
