“Great Staff”

“Great Location”

We were really happy with our stay at the Dearborn West. The location was super and our room was very comfortable and nice. The breakfast was very good, although the eating area was quite small. We loved the fact that we were able to get our tickets to Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum at the desk and there was a shuttle right there and then we just called to get our ride back to the hotel. What great service that was! We were very close to shopping and restaurants and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Mostly Satisfied”

Hotel was being renovated during our stay so one had to put up with occasional noise and lots of dust and debris in the halls. Breakfast area was also cramped as a result. Location was ideal for our visit and we made full use of the shuttle service to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford museum.

“Dearborn West”

This was my third stay at this hotel, and will keep going back.

“Will go back!!”

Had stayed there before when it was a different name and was pleased then. It is still a very nice place. Construction was going on which made it a little noisy at times, but that was during the day. Nights were quiet. The only negative for this motel is the SMALL & CROWDED eating area for breakfast.

“could have been better!”

this hotel was not to far from Henry Ford Musuem. They have a shuttle if you call ahead. while i was there the place was under construction so it was very noisy and dusty. the room was o.k. and it seemed very clean. the breakfast was o.k. but there was a lot of people and not enough seats. might go back when they are done working on the place.

“Under Construction”

No.one warned us there was a grand-scale remodeling taking place at this hotel. The hallway was a mess and there were workers all over the place. The air conditioner in our room performed poorly and we were on the border of being uncomfortable all night. The party who came with us found that their TV color was not functioning properly. The hotel staff checked and adjusted it but agreed that it was not right, however, they said there was not another TV to swap out with it. (Scenes from the Red Planet for them.) Breakfast was good and the hotel staff friendly. I would not recommend it right now, but it may be really nice when the remodeling is complete.

Area recommendations
This area, near The Henry Ford Museum seemed fine. It wasn't far to the restaurants, but I was thankful for my sister's GPS as we threaded through the roads around the museum.

“From Hampton Inn to Comfort Inn ... DISSAPPOINTING !!!!”

Just wasn't what we experienced before,remodel in progress,smell of smoke in hallways,exercise room locked during open hours,very stuffy and hot in pool area,luggage cart had extremely low (FLAT) tires,breakfast was very dissappointing & not stocked well. Beds were great,housekeeping service was a plus. Don't beleive we will return...Frontdesk staff was good & pleasant.
