“A Wonderful Gem of an Hotel”

This "Hall" Hotel is set in very attractive grounds in beautiful rolling countryside. The suites of rooms provided were excellent as were the Spa facilities. What can we say about the service, food and drink other than Excellent! The Risley Hall Hotel and Spa is definitely the place to stay, and we will be back there when in the area.

“Check your bill”

The spa was lovely very relaxing first class tratments,made to feel welcome. The hotel was nice we had a while to wait for check in given keys but room not ready, left bags anyway, eager to get to the spa and our first treatment, we were overcharged on our bill by 34 pounds, on check out I couldn't understand the bill thought it was a lot, at home realised we had been charged twice for some things, and somebody else's dinner!! they were sorry and refunded my money, my fault I should have asked for the bill earlier and checked properly, I will in future, apart from that the staff very friendly especially the bar manager who got our table reservation moved to an earlier time, as when we got our drinks they didn't do nibbles! and we were sooo hungry, so thankful for that.

“Good Location”

With easy access to the Motorway, Nottingham and Derby, this hotel provides a nice quiet location for our overnight stop. We did not have chance to use the spa but the food (dinner & breakfast) was very nice. The rooms are large but need updating and a little repair. Overall service was very good and this is a nicer stop than some of your normal chain hotels.
