“La Quinta Inn Hotel”

It's a convenient hotel for staying for long time with a little money and great service relative to the paid money.

“Right next to the freeway. Very noisy. But safe neighbourhood. Close to downtown.”

The smelled of cigarette smoke although I had asked for a non-smoking room. One wing of the hotel is right next to the freeway and unless you have the fan turned on all night, the freeway noise will wake you up. The heater in the room also makes clicking noise which can be very annoying when you are trying to sleep. But otherwise, the hotel is ok. At least the neighborhood seems to be safe and there is that added convenience of being close to downtown.

“Nothing wrong with this place~”

10$ cab ride to downtown Denver if you pay more your getting ripped off. Clean, affordable stay just outside downtown Denver makes it perfectly acceptable. Nice continental breakfast and the big guy working up front was very nice and extremely helpful. Right next to a gas station with a Mcdonalds in it so its an easy stumble next door 24-7. Just perfect for the price and level of service. Thanks~

Area recommendations

16th street is the main drag with all the restaurants and stores and bars, etc. This is the only place I visited at night besides the Denver Zoo, which was absolutely awesome. Very clean and huge and amazing experience. I suppose during baseball season this would be the place to be since the stadium is within walking distance. The downtown area is extremely clean and family friendly.

This isn't a hotel, it's a motel (outside doors). Also most of the rooms are smoking rooms.

The hotel is clean, but the bed is uncomfortable and the towels are cheap and worn out. The breakfast was what you expect from a two star hotel. The fast free internet was the best feature of the hotel.

“Ok hotel, all the essentials are there”

Hotel has everything basic that one needs. free wifi (pretty fast!) free bkfst, pool, air con. the location is near the entrance of highway, so if you have a car, it's a good place to stay. walkable ~40min to downtown. nxt to a small plaza with fastfood and coffee. hotel bed is very comfy. asked for a nonsmoking room, got a smoking room, everything smelled like smoke after the trip. soap+shampoo included.. citrus smell, kinda gross. AC is very loud and goes on/off frequently, can wake u up at night. the rooms are clean, in general. nearby are train tracks, can be loud at night because trains make loud sqeeky noise (esp if u're on the side facing the trains.) bkfst 6-10am, has good selection. hotel staff very helpful and friendly. overall, a good place to stay for a budget. prepare earplugs and cars.

“Not impressed”

Most La quinta's are a lot better than this one. Close to highway, very noisy and unfenced, so basically anyone walking on the street can knock on your door or worse, break in!
