“different in the best of ways”

If you are tired of the same old boring hotels then give the nylo a shot. As soon as you walk through the doors you will be pleased to see the modern and very different feel than all the big name hotels. The staff is great and the beds are unreal! The bar is a bit over priced but very cool. I could see the pool in the summer being something like a big vegas destination pool with all the retro furniture and funky shaped pool and hot tub. Definitely worth checking out! You will love the change from everyday hotel stays at the big name chains.

Nightlife

The glass cactus is only 10 minutes down the road and if you like to dance and enjoy a world class night club then don't miss out.

“Very nice hotel, excellent food, and comfort”

I stayed here on business and really enjoyed the decor as well as the room experience. breakfast was delicious and though the fire alarm went off at 2am i still loved it!

“Great Time!!”

Great quick getaway from the kids. Personable front desk staff. Looking forward to enjoying the gorgeous pool next summer. Definitely, would recommend!!!!

“Not impressed”

The hotel is very loud and not sound proof I was on the fifth floor. They have live entertainment my room was right over the pool and cabana area. If it wasn't the live music you were hearing in your room, the people in the halls walking and talking loudly, or the people in the cabana area talking and screaming all through out the night probably until 2 in the morning. Other than that the hotel is quite unique but I probably won't stay there again.

“Excellent alternative to Dallas”

I used to stay in Dallas but now I stay here. It has the best hotel bed on the planet (and I've stayed in hundreds), huge rooms 'industrial' loft style with glazed cement floors and floor to ceiling windows, yet somehow is very cozy. Excellent restaurant and nice bar area. It's a hop and a skip from the airport. There isn't much except strip malls around there but if you're arriving at DFW, and not visiting Dallas, this hotel is a great place to bunk up. I have already recommended it to 3 people and they love it.

Area recommendations

there's nothing except strip malls and shopping malls. If you drive into Las Colinas (the other side), there are a couple of nice restaurants (meaning, not Applebees).

“"Will definitely stay here again"”

The hotel is very trendy, felt like i walked into a modern lounge, with a welcoming atmosphere to some good music playing in the background, rooms were not huge but then again i was not moving in permanetly, the amenities were great, nice pool area and nice dining, will make it my stay next time i am in the dfw area.

“Not Sure”

This hotel's concept had a very "cold" feeling. Even though it had thick concrete walls, you could still here the slamming of the doors echoing throughout the hall ways. Very disturbing!!

“Will Go Again”

This loft-style hotel is perfect for anyone who enjoys a modern experience -- a nice change from regular hotels. We were pleased with everything about the hotel. The first floor includes check-in, small conference rooms, a large bar and restaurant, and a cool "library" with lots of modern furniture and tables.... a great place to hang out. The outdoor pool and bar are surrounded by modern and comfortable pool furniture -- extremely contemporary. Our room had very high celings and ultra modern furnishings. We enjoyed the loft-style ambiance. The bathroom was super contemporary with a great rain-style shower and plush towels. The bed included comfy, luxurious bedding. We enjoyed everything about the room. And, btw, the sushi in the restaurant is outstanding. The only downside was noise that took place in our hallway at 3 am. Very loud, rowdy guests. But that was the only downside of the weekend.
