"This was our second stay at the Moorcock and we will definitely be back. The owners and staff are really friendly . The room was clean and had a great view out the front . We ate in the pub every night and the food was great . Had a lovely steak and chips and a good roast dinner . My partner had a burger one night and it was massive and tasty. All the food was piping hot. The views from the pub garden are wonderful . Don't hesitate to book at this property . "

"The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. "This hotel was a trip highlight. Stunning building, easy parking and delicious breakfast. Huge bathroom and possibly the cleanest we have ever seen in a hotel. Fresh air, friendly staff and we would love to have stayed longer. Special hour out to the stocks in the kids playground. Love it!"
