"Huggins Cottage is one of the loveliest places we've stayed, and by far the best cared for. We were made to feel welcome every step of the way, from booking to leaving. Very thoughtfully equipped kitchen, and house generally, with very comfortable beds. Bookshelves included a wealth of information about the area. "We like walking and there were plenty of remote footpaths and bridle paths all to ourselves. Also the property was ideally situated for visits to north Wales where there were more nice walking paths up hills, across farmland and to remote castles. We hope to come back to this friendly location."

"A lovely stay at Bucknell Station Cottage, just perfect for us (2 adults and 2 children). The kids loved staying in their room together and the wooden train set was a nice touch, going well with looking out the window as the big trains rolled past! Very well located for day trips in and around Shropshire as well as over the nearby border in to lovely Wales. Home made flapjacks greeting us on arrival were very well received! Thanks to Nina,Sam and family, a lovely space for a quiet break away."

"This property is in a beautiful location. The owners have thought of everything and it was immaculately clean. There were homemade cakes on arrival with a pint of milk and tea/coffee. "The barn conversion is set in stunning Shropshire scenery. When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the owner. The property is warm and comfortable with many original features. There was plenty of room for the 11 family members in our group - lots of comfy armchairs, and pretty bedlinen on all the beds. The kitchen was slightly small for so large a group but we managed without a problem. There is a large Sainsbury's store within easy reach and we found plenty to do."

"We stayed at Lodge 2 for 40 days, January 22nd - March 1st although basic was pleasant enough, our view each day was wonderful, would definitely recommend, neighbours were friendly, not dog friendly enough though (needs a gate on decking) although our dog loved it, couple of minor niggles (toilet seat) which I tried to repair, owners are very accommodating and friendly, all in all a very pleasant stay."
