“Nice Hotel”

This is a nice hotel with modern rooms and equipment. It is located conviniently accross the river opposite of Cologne Cathedral. There is good transportation that takes you to the central part in about 15 minutes. The only drawback is a lot of smoking in the lobby. I would stay here again.

“Impressed with Hotel”

The service was great from the front desk, had no hassles with checking in earlier than the stated time and the breakfast selection was great. Not so sure about the smoking area in lobby area though.

“Intend to return”

Although the hotel is a bit out of the way the facilities made up for it. The rooms, restaurants, bar and reception were all top class. The train station is so near with trains running into centre every few minutes.

“Ideal for the Koelnmesse”

Smart, large business-style hotel with all the usual features. Excellent selection for breakfast. Very good transport links - transport into city is easy using the tram whch stops close by and Deutz Station for direct link to the airport is 5-10 minutes walk. Ideal if you are visiting the Koeln Messe as it is just across the road. Despite the generally high prices for hotels in Cologne, the quality and location of this one make it a good choice.

“Not impressed.”

The wireless internet was not working (wired was available). When asked if guests ha daccess to aprinter I was instructed that if I brought documents to be printed to the reception desk on a flash drive they would print them for me. When I did the new response was to 'email' them instead. When I finally got the consent to print my documents witout returning to my room to log-in and send email the process took some 20 minutes to print 3 pages. The carpet in the room was old and smelled badly. The design was just strange, with poor lighting and a shower system that guaranteed excess water on the floor.

“Loved it”

One of the best hotels we've stayed at. loved the room decor; very modern, minimalist, great lighting. Bathroom was modern, large and functional. The beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We had a balcony off our room too. The rooms looked just as they do on the website. Very convenient for our weekend at the Amphi festival. A little further out of the city, but there is a tram stop nearby and a taxi was under 10 Euros.

“Cologne a lovely city”

Excellent rooms, they were however doing some work to the reception area and outside forcourt when we were there, but it didnt spoil our stay. If you want breakfast, book it prior with the room, we decided to have it one day and its 23 Euros each, which came as a shock.

Traveller's tip

This hotel is perfect for the Lanxess Arena, we were there to see a band at the arena and its only 10 mins walk away, if that! Plus surrounding the arena there were several good bars and restaurants.

“A fantastic hotel”

This is the second time I have stayed in the Radisson Blu, and it won't be the last. It is friendly and the rooms are large and luxurious with every convenience (trouser press, ironing board, large TV that swivels, numerous lights, huge bed, large bathroom etc. etc.). And there is free wi-fi. It's on the wrong side of the Rhine for leisure breaks, but easily reachable by tram or train from the centre.

“Great Value”

we were extremely satisfied with the hotel, the price was great and the service really good. The only hotel we stayed in in Europe to give us free internet access!
