“Good choice for Charleston”

Excellent choice - 5 - 10 minutes by free shuttle bus from centre of Charleston saving half the price of downtown hotels (and parking- nightmare). Upgrade to river view worth taking, view sensational. Room very clean and tidy. Only gripe was the fire alarm went off at 5.30 am but when mentioned at the desk both in the morning and in the evening, no one knew anything about it and no one else had complained/mentioned it, which I find very hard to believe.

“Will go back...”

This hotel was a central location to all the activities. We used the shuttle for town trips. The rooms were clean. The view from the dining room was spectacular, but we didn't eat there or use the pool.

“Cooper River Bridge 10k - great place to stay”

I was pleasantly surprised to learn, upon arrival at the hotel, that the hotel provided complimentary shuttle service to historic Charleston and made special complimentary shuttle to the race departure location. This alone makes the hotel worth the stay. The beds, room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Great value!

“Great Location”

This was my first visit to Charleston and really loved this hotel. It was close to everything I wanted to see and do and was very resonably priced.

“Very Impressed with the Stay and Service”

As it was just a day's stay, I was not prepared well and was very impressed with the friendly reception at the hotel and the service to provide me with all the amenities that I forgot to carry along with me. The check in was smooth and the check out was swift and overall I am very happy with this. I understand that the hotel was renovated recently but would recommend them to have a microwave in the room as well as find a better place to keep the coffee maker!!!!

“Close to downtown Charleston-easy acess”

The hotel staff and the hotel it self where very friendly and clean. My only complaint was that the air conditioner cooled but didn't take the humidty out of the room. The resturant at the top was wonderful. Everybody should do dinner there once during the stay. They even have a laundry facilities which was wonderful for cleaning all those beach towels and clothes.

“would stay here again”

Hotel had very comfortable bed and pillows. Older hotel but very clean and updated. They have a shuttle to downtown (about 10 mins) so it is the perfect place to stay. They have a great happy hour and the view is the best in the city.

“Affordable comfort with a great view!”

We stayed here for two nights in August. I was very pleased with the spacious room, view, and restaurant. The restaurant is located on the top floor with a wonderful panorama view of the harbor and has nightly entertainment. Showers were perfect with plenty of hot water and good pressure, bed was soft and huge, and pillows abound! The downside? We were a little surprised that there was no refigerator in the room - at this price point you'd expect to get one. But if you're only staying a night or two, that's not a very big deal. We were also disappointed that while having a wonderful view, the door to the balcony does not open. It's locked on all rooms, it seems. Not that the balconies are enormous, but it seems a waste of a nice feature!
